Arrow

Arrow
Words by Clint Collins
March 17, 2006

Engine stalls and wheels won’t turn
Wasted time and every cent I earned
Losing faith in so called lessons learned
I never learned

Oh , I need some kind of guide

So I form my body in the shape of an arrow
But I still don’t know which direction to go
You can turn me left, you can turn me south
You can pull me close, you can shoot me out

The compass needle is stuck in place
I still can’t see the blood on my own face
The treasure map has all but been erased
Oh what a waste

Oh , I need some kind of guide

So I form my body in the shape of an arrow
But I still don’t know which direction to go
You can turn me left, you can turn me south
You can pull me close, you can shoot me out
